Grand Army Plaza Coalition
The Grand Army Plaza Coalition (GAPCo) is an alliance of community groups, cultural organizations, and advocates who work together to improve the welfare of Grand Army Plaza. GAPCo seeks to understand how Grand Army Plaza functions today, to envision how the Plaza might function better, and to implement solutions that realize that vision, mobilizing the communities it represents. GAPCo also organizes projects for the betterment of Grand Army Plaza today, and works for improvements to adjacent areas such as Eastern Parkway and Mount Prospect Park.
GAPCo wouldn’t have been able to move forward as rapidly towards a new master plan without Reinventing Grand Army Plaza, which opened the community’s eyes to the possibilities of this wonderful space.
