Douglas Woodward is a planner and urban designer. His ongoing project, The Under Line, envisions the re-opening of the 33 lots beneath the High Line for public use. Douglas is currently Senior Advisor at Edison Properties, providing real estate, planning, zoning, and urban design advice. He was formerly Chief Administrative Officer and Deputy Executive Director of the Lincoln Center Development Project, and urban designer at the NYC Department of City Planning, where he focused on master planning, major rezonings, and large scale developments, including Columbus Circle, Lower Manhattan, Hudson Yards, and Times Square.
