Download a Photo Urbanism bingo card to take with you out to NYC’s public spaces this spring!
As of March 20 (the Spring Equinox), we are officially on the road towards increasingly longer days and warmer weather. In celebration, the Design Trust has created a bingo card to take with you as you start getting back outside. Your challenge is to see how quickly you can spot each one of these scenes that together contribute to the vibrancy of New York City in the springtime.

The photos featured on this bingo card were taken by Design Trust’s Photo Urbanism Fellows. The Design Trust for Public Space Photo Urbanism program offers fellowships to local photographers to create a new body of work illuminating the public spaces of NYC. We believe that photography is vital to understanding our shared environment and serves as a critical tool for highlighting issues and opportunities in the city’s complex public realm. The first Photo Urbanism Fellowship was awarded to Len Jenshel and Diane Cook in 2001 for their project, “The Edge of New York,” documenting 600 miles of New York City waterfront. Since then, using methods from experimental photography to portraiture, Fellows have explored NYC through the lens of urban farming, public housing, elevated train tracks, and more.
