Learn how to keep track of how much you grow and who helps! Join the workshop on August 23rd at the Kelly Street Garden!

Youth gardeners at the Kelly Street Garden will show you how to track produce by harvesting and weighing mature crops and leading a Yum/Yuck vegetable tasting demo. The gardeners will also go over how you can track volunteer participation at your garden. Participants will receive the Five Borough Farm Data Collection Toolkit, the first publicly accessible set of protocols to collect data on urban agriculture.

Registration for this workshop is required. Please email bronxgreenup@nybg.org or call 718-817-8026.

The Five Borough Farm Data Collection Toolkit contains detailed protocols to help farmers and gardeners keep records and tell meaningful stories about the value of their work on subject areas like rainwater harvesting, compost production, and the numerous social benefits provided by each garden. Learn more about the Five Borough Farm project.

Can't make this workshop? Don't worry, there is one more planned in August:
