The Project Team

Van Cortlandt Park Alliance has received a $310,000 two-year grant from the Mellon Foundation to develop a design plan reimagining the park's Enslaved African Burial Ground. The Design Trust for Public Space was selected as the project partner, responsible for community engagement and project management in partnership with Immanuel Oni of Liminal sp. This project is guided by the Reimagining the Enslaved African Burial Ground at Van Cortlandt Park Legacy Council.
