My Design Trust fellowship was a wonderful opportunity to work as part of a team working to empower a community to shape their physical environment. I particularly enjoyed the opportunity to work collectively toward a vision of a ‘sustainable community’ that fully and deeply embraced the social, environmental, and economic elements of what sustainability is all about.
