Katie Winter has he own architectural practice, Katie Winter Architecture, that brings the discipline of architecture to issues, communities and projects that are often overlooked.
Katie's work was profiled in the Tastemaker issue of House and Garden and on a CBS Morning News report. Recently, the firm’s work was featured in Active Design Guidelines: Promoting Physical Activity and Health in Design, a publication developed by a partnership of 5 New York City departments. Katie was a featured speaker at the AIANY and NYC’s Health Department, Fit City 5 Conference.
Katie earned her Masters of Architecture and her BA from Yale University. She practiced at Skidmore Owings and Merrill and then at Peter Gluck and Partners before starting her own firm.
