Turnout NYC is creating new venues for New York's Artists. Follow the series on Youtube.

The sixth video in the Turnout NYC series goes to Hunts Point with The Point Community Development Corporation where legendary graffiti artist collective, "Girls Write Too," performed live sketches during a Hip Hop Celebration event. A partnership of NOCDNY's Reimagining New York, The Bronx Wide Coalition, THE POINT, and Girls Write Too, this Turnout NYC event fused music, art, and activism.

Turnout NYC is creating new venues for New York's artists. Led by the Design Trust for Public Space and SITU, in partnership with cultural community partners from all five boroughs, the project prototyped flexible and semi-permanent outdoor performance spaces with a season of concerts, performances, workshops, and more.

The Turnout NYC video series is documenting how this collaborative model can create more equitable arts access in New York City, and beyond.
