Following an introduction of the book by one of its editors Francesca Miazzo, Design Trust executive director Susan Chin will speak about Design Trust’s contribution to the publication on the section about NYC. Design Trust laid out the case study about the ‘inclusive stakeholder approach’ in building Manufacture New York, a fashion incubator and factory with the mission to provide independent designers with the necessary support and resources to streamline their production process.

Rob Sanchez, Chief Strategy Officer of Manufacture New York, will further elaborate on how his initiative has transformed local manufacturing into an affordable, innovative and sustainable option for all fashion designers.

The presentations will be followed by a brief Q&A session with the audience, and refreshments will be served courtesy of Manufacture New York. The copies of the book will be available for sale at the event!
