Return of NYC's sunshine = Public Space Potluck! Pack your favorite picnic dish and follow the Design Trust for Public Space to the Smiling Hogshead Ranch in Long Island City for a summer evening spent in a community garden, hosted with the Long Island City Partnership.

Smiling Hogshead Ranch started in 2011 as "guerrilla garden" and has evolved into a legit urban farm collective whose mission is to create a culture that empowers and connects our communities through ecology, education, and collaboration.

Our Public Space Potlucks gather urban enthusiasts of all ages and backgrounds together for a shared meal and to learn more about public space initatives across the five boroughs. The event is free and open to the public. Please bring a dish to share if you can! We will provide some snacks, drinks, cups, plates, napkins, etc. The farm is located at 25-30 Skillman Ave, Long Island City, NY 11101. RSVP here.
