Join Design Trust & The Waterfront Alliance at Manhattan's first beach and check out the community-informed design of Gansevoort Peninsula!
Located in Hudson River Park between Gansevoort Street and Little West 12th Street, and opposite the Whitney Museum of American Art, Gansevoort Peninsula offers no swimming, but 1,200 tons of sand with beach umbrellas, Adirondack-style chairs, misting features for cooling down or rinsing off sand, a dog park, a protected salt marsh, boardwalk strolls, public art, incredible waterfront views, and more features informed by an extensive community engagement and design process.
