The Design Trust's June 2001 forum on the High Line was major step toward understanding and productively channeling the concerns of interested parties and laying out the issues and positions surrounding state and local government support. This booklet summarizes the conclusions of the forum, assess the development issues then facing the High Line, and outlines next steps.

develop a design vision for the railway's reclamation.
