James Russell is the architecture critic for Bloomberg News, which reaches 260,000 professionals and 350 publications worldwide. He is also an adjunct professor at the Spitzer School of Architecture of the City College of New York. For 18 years James was an editor at Architectural Record magazine. His book, The Agile City: Building Well Being Wealth and Wealth in an Era of Climate Change was published by Island Press in 2011. He holds a Masters of Architecture degree from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Design from the University of Washington.
This publication continues to be used throughout the city. The issues raised in this project had broader significance and greater usefulness than anyone anticipated.
