Colin Cathcart was born in Born in Frontier,
Saskatchewan, in 1955. He received
a Bachelor of Environmental Studies
from the University of Waterloo in 1978
and was awarded the AIA Medal upon
receiving his Master of Architecture
from Columbia University in 1983.
He received a Design Trust fellowship for
Long Island City:
Connecting the Arts.
Mr. Cathcart joined with Gregory Kiss in 1983 to form Kiss + Cathcart
Architects. Mr. Cathcart is also
an associate professor at Fordham University,
where he has developed a Pre-Architecture
program within the Department of Visual
Arts and a university wide architectural
studies major.
