Located on a hill in its eponymous South Brooklyn neighborhood, the park offers commanding views of the entire New York harbor, from the Statue of Liberty to Midtown. The Sunset Park neighborhood, one of the city’s most diverse, is the home to many exciting new public space improvements along the waterfront.
Join us for a communal meal in Sunset Park. We’ll meet in the center of the park, on the terrace in front of the soccer field, adjacent to the intersection of 6th Avenue and 44th Street. The park is easily accessible from the N/R subway at 36th Street or 45th Street.
As always, we'll provide the cups, plates, and napkins for our shared meal. All attendees are asked to please bring a food dish to share. The event is free and open to all.
