Learn how much you grow and how to track your compost! Join the workshop on August 30th at the Davidson Avenue Community Garden!

Youth gardeners at the Davidson Avenue Community Garden will show you how to measure and track compost they produce. The gardeners will also cover how to  track data on your harvest. Participants will receive the Five Borough Farm Data Collection Toolkit, the first publicly accessible set of protocols to collect data on urban agriculture.

Registration for this workshop is required. Please email bronxgreenup@nybg.org or call 718-817-8026.

The Five Borough Farm Data Collection Toolkit contains detailed protocols to help farmers and gardeners keep records and tell meaningful stories about the value of their work on subject areas like rainwater harvesting, compost production, and the numerous social benefits provided by each garden. Learn more about the Five Borough Farm project.
