Join the Design Trust Council on a tour of the Vessel, a newly launched interactive art piece imagined by Heatherwick Studio. In addition to exploring the new public space, we will consider how New Yorkers' reception of this project may impact the future of public space in NYC.
We will be joined by Mark Strieter- Senior Associate at Nelson Byrd Landscape Architects, Marianne Kwok- Director at KPF, and Philippe Visser from Hudson Yards Developer Related. Following the tour, we will get a behind-the-scenes look at Chef José Andrés’ Mercado Little Spain, a new food hall in Hudson Yards, with Lionel Ohayon, founder of the design studio ICRAVE.
