On Tuesday April 22, 2008, over 150 designers, landscape architects, ecologists, activists and city officials came together to envision a new era of sustainable parks and landscapes at the "Park Design for the 21st Century" symposium hosted by the Design Trust for Public Space and the NYC Dept. of Parks and Recreation. The afternoon was divided into two panel presentations with open discussion. Highlights of the presentations follow. |
