Saul Steinberg was one of America's most beloved artists, renowned for the drawings and magazine covers that appeared in
The New Yorker for nearly six decades. His drawings and prints have been shown throughout the world, including in the landmark "Fourteen Americans" exhibition at the Museum of Modern Art in 1946.
