Financial Statement

As required by law, each year the Design Trust's finances are audited by an independent accountant. For anyone curious about the financial health of the organization or how we put your donations to work, this is where to look.

The Design Trust follows the calendar year, so our annual audit takes place in the spring and the statement is usually released in the summer.

Strategic Plan

On the heels of a global pandemic, political instability, and emerging crossroads for intersectional social justice movements, the Design Trust for Public Space unveiled a new strategic plan in 2023 to lead the future of the organization and propose a new vision for public space as a critical tool for equality.

We have made the plan publicly available to any and all who are interested. Engaging our staff, partners, peers, board, and friends, this framework outlines the challenges and opportunities guiding New York City, investigating how the organization can set an ambitious new agenda for public space projects that create equitable access to resources and the public goods that can and should make our lives better.
